Evidence-based therapy for children, teenagers, and young adults.

About
Welcome to my practice!
I’m a clinical psychologist who works with children, teens, and young adults to help them build coping skills and resilience, feel better, and navigate life’s challenges with more confidence and ease.
I specialize in working with clients with a range of concerns, from anxiety and daily stress to health-related challenges, such as gastroenterological (GI) concerns (Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Celiac Disease, Rumination Disorder), feeding difficulties (ARFID), chronic pain, and other medical conditions. I also support people dealing with worries, depression and mood changes, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), adjustment issues, and toileting troubles.
I use research-supported therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. At the same time, I know that every person is unique, and I adapt treatment to meet people where they are, valuing their strengths and specific goals. I am committed to creating a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can learn new tools, cope more easily, and feel empowered to take an active role in their growth.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based therapies such as:

-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps individuals learn practical tools to develop more helpful thoughts and behaviors in order to ease anxiety and stress, build emotional resilience, and improve mood and quality of life.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages flexibility and self-compassion, helping young people cope with difficult emotions, connect with their values, and focus on what matters to them.
-
Mindfulness-based strategies: Practices that help people stay present, build awareness, and calm the mind and body. These are tools that can help with emotional and physical stress.
-
GI-informed CBT: A specialized approach for children and teenagers with Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBIs), such as chronic stomach pain and IBS. This therapy helps young people understand the mind-gut connection, manage symptoms, and improve quality of life.

Insurance and Payment
I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I do not participate in insurance plans. However, I provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many families receive partial reimbursement this way, but coverage varies by plan, so I strongly recommend that you contact your insurance to confirm your benefits. Payment is due at the time of service and can be made by debit or credit card.
